We’re over the hump and after Will’s triumphant update, I’m also feeling a lot better than I was a couple of days ago. I went on an early morning stroll before the summer sun came out to bake the streets and I’m looking forward to my next serving of healthy, nurtrient-dense juice!
As I type this post, I’m enjoying a nice smoothie made with spinach and collard green juice, mangoes and bananas. Sounds crazy but it’s mad good. I’m already a fan of sweet potato fries, so when I saw those on the menu I was geeked! Also, it’s the return of the green vegetable soup which ought to be even better the second time around.
After today, it’s only one more day to go and I’m starting to think about how I plan to incorporate what I’ve learned on this journey beyond the 5 days. One thing I plan NOT to incorporate is beets! *LOL* But seriously, this is about more than sharing a 5-day health experiment over the web with my homie – this is about discovering new ways to unlearn bad habits and introduce healthier lifestyle choices that will ultimately give Will and I greater health.
