Pause

Press Pause

I’ve decided to only produce two more favecast episodes this year: a birthday edition (late-October) and anniversary edition (early-December). They will be extended versions (>90min) and feature special segments, interviews and new music. In the past I’ve placed the favecast on hold in order to focus on other projects -- but this time I’m reducing the frequency of my show because I honestly believe I only have two (good) shows left in me.

My latest edition, Deluxe, features lots of new songs from my musical heroes and my commentary comes across upbeat and energetic (unlike the previous 3-4 episodes where it took everything in me to turn the mic on). It was important to pause the favecast on a positive note, but the reality is my quest for positivity and peace of mind is only beginning.

I look forward to finalizing my highly anticipated book, PUG PLEASE!, and building good momentum around its release. There are new songs waiting to be recorded. A Pug Named Fender needs new episodes. More importantly, I need to re-evaluate the things in my life that makes me who I am. I’d like to think I am more than the sum of my talents. I want to affirm that, even if I couldn’t do *insert creative skill here*, my life and heart still have significance. If I never wrote another song, drew another picture, designed another website, wrote another novel, gave another presentation or produced another podcast…the content of my soul still holds value.

Until next time.
