Day 5 – A picture of somewhere you’ve been.
Do you know what it’s like to have an environment embrace you? The energy of Calgary, Alberta always whisked through my soul like a cool wind. Throughout all of my travels, Calgary captured three (3) unforgettable aspects. The air and water was the purest and cleanest I’ve every breathed and tasted, respectively . Aside from the almighty Chicago-style hot dog, the food vendor outside of the downtown nightclubs had the best Italian sausage and franks (with the super soft buns). Lastly, my souvenir from my Calgary excursions will forever be with me: a treble clef tattoo on my right arm. It was the catalyst for a more intricate design, but it all started in a small ink shop in Calgary.
It’s been several years since I’ve been back, but Canada will always be synonymous with a crisp environment, great food and permanent ink.
