*This thought was prompted by the onslaught of pointless Facebook event invites and email blasts I receive from promoters who have shoddy websites, poorly updated contact info and underwhelming events.*
Strong marketing is found in how well you ENGAGE your audience. A call to action is only as powerful as the level of comfort I have with you and your message. That comfort level depends on your ability to be sincere, engaging and/or focused on solving problems.
If you can't engage, you're simply spewing empty rhetoric on deaf ears. And that makes for nothing but my Inbox clogged with your hot mess of a message.
