Digital Heroes
Interviewing Eric Roberson was a great milestone in my podcasting career. This week, I'm fortunate to have Phonte & Nicolay = Foreign Exchange on my show as they prepare to release "City Lights v2:Shibuya" on September 15th.
I'm blessed to talk with my "digital heroes (DH)" - individuals I've discovered online over the years. I enjoy the fact that they are tangible, real and humble while sharing their extraordinary gift(s) with the world. It's inspiring and encouraging to learn about their journey, discuss their dreams and laugh at their jokes. . . like an old friend coming by to visit.
My DHs include chart-topping MCs and producers, podcasters, musicians, authors, ministers, social media geeks, motivational speakers, yoga instructors, brand managers, web designers and much more (that I'm sure I'm not aware of).
They bring education, enlightenment, entertainment and encouragement to my life with every tweet, Facebook status, email and / or IM. It is my prayer that I bring value to their lives as well.
My digital heroes have taught me that it's not just "who you know," but "who you HELP."
