The Day After Christmas

I've been blessed all year long. Christmas Day was no different. I promised to be marginally jovial and was able to keep that promise. There were moments where I exceeded jovial and appeared very excited.

After several months of disappointing photographs captured by my current digital camera, I was blessed with a new P&S jumpoff that is already proving to be a great companion for capturing moments on the fly. It comes at a time where I'm scheduled to update my Flickr Pro subscription...nice.

A combination of divine favor and advanced online hustle has elevated my music game exponentially over the past week. I discovered an online computer store whose warehouse is located in the city. I was able to acquire that widescreen LCD monitor I've been wanting since I bought my MacBook. Winning a virtual mixing board / combo on eBay + having the seller also located in the city = instant gratification / 60% savings / no shipping costs. The true "coup de gras" was the blessing of the highly sought-after, extremely hard-to-find headphones. I now have the tools necessary to create mix shows - as a component of the FFC - under the DJ Markus Gramm moniker :P

Despite the plethora of presents + long awaited digital upgrades, I am thankful that I survived the day without extended bouts of sadness. It wasn't the gifts that made the day palatable; it was the comfort of God and my wife's smile that were instrumental that I arrived on the day after Christmas with my heart intact.

Glad Christmas was jovial and at times exciting for you. The satisfaction and peace gained from God's grace and your help meet's presence were the best presents you could have received.
