Is the Friday Favecast Dead?

Was it a coincidence that - after not receiving the nod for Best Podcast @ the BWAs on last Thursday - there was no new Friday Favecast the following day? Could it have been a symbolic silence of a sore loser? Was the disappointment so overwhelming that I couldn't find the gumption to pick up my USB microphone, push record on Sound Studio and say, "In this edition of the Friday Favecast..."?

Nah...I was just tired. Anyone who has worked consecutive 12-hour days with a 60-90 minute commute home can feel me on this. Those all-night favecasting sessions eventually take its toll and I had reached that breaking point of exhaustion. My mind and spirit has no limitations; my body- however - laid the smackdown :P

I've been working on putting together a "throwback series" of favecasts for the month of September to pay homage to my 15th high school class reunion. Initially, the class was not going to have anything commemorating 15 years out of H.S., but the buzz of my pending shows and activity on our ning social network has resurrected hope. We are planning to have a fun dinner gathering in October November. I plan on getting back on track and dropping my late 80s/early 90s inspired editions this month.

The Friday Favecast is not dead.

Meanwhile, I'll be plugging away at action items and corporate milestones in between listening to Tim Ferriss' Four Hour Work Week and Foreign Exchange's (aka Phonte and Nicolay) new single, "Daykeepers". . .with a side of Muhsinah - on my iPod.

Until next time...
